Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Marine Sergeant Jesse Long is a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), where he found a lifelong mission after his service. His belief in the VFW stems from its vital role in providing a safe haven and a sense of "home" for veterans navigating the return to civilian life. A dedicated family man, Jesse enjoys a day spent fishing with his father and the satisfaction of working on cars, hobbies that keep him connected to the community he fought to protect.
